PRIDCO presents its portfolio of strategic properties during Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association Convention

The executive director of the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO), Roberto Lefranc Fortuño, presented an update on the island's industrial development strategy during his participation in Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association Convention, highlighting the key role of the corporation as an engine of investment and job creation.
During his speech, Lefranc Fortuños stressed that PRIDCO continues to strengthen its portfolio of industrial assets– which includes more than 1,400 profitable properties and more than 21 millions quare feet – as an essential tool to attract local and international companie sand facilitate the expansion of strategic sectors.
Likewise, PRIDCO Executive Director presented to the audience all the available industrial warehouses, the lots ready for development and the new construction projects, offering a clear vision of the immediate and future opportunities for investment in Puerto Rico.
"The focus is clear: maximize the use of our assets, streamline processes and position Puerto Rico as a competitive destination for industrial investment," the official said.
The head of PRIDCO also highlighted key initiatives, such as the development of new "white box" projects in strategic municipalities and the availability of industrial land throughout the island, designed to respond with agility to market demand and accelerate the installation of new operations.
The presentation is part of Governor Jenniffer González Colón's public policy, focused on promoting sustained economic growth, strengthening manufacturing and attracting investment through more agile and results-oriented government structure.
"We are aligned with the governor's vision of creating a proactive environment to do business, where the government is a facilitator and not an obstacle," added Lefranc Fortuño. He also reaffirmed PRIDCO’s commitment to Puerto Rico's economic development through alliances with leading companies in industries, such as medical devices, pharmaceutical sand advanced manufacturing, consolidating the island's position as an industrial hub in the region.
PRIDCO's participation in the PRMA Convention is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors, a key element for the country's economic growth.
